Where do I start?

There is so much to do, I'm so glad we decided to move back the date by two years. I have so much to think about though!

1. Where? Colorado and I need to decide what state the wedding will be in. I have lived in DFW my whole life, my family is (mostly) all here, and this is where we have spent our entire relationship. We did go to Denver once, last summer for about a week, and it was beautiful. His whole family is there, including his mom and little brother and that's where he grew up. Colorado also says that he hates TX, he is learning to like it here though, every once in a while he will mention that maybe its not so bad here.

2. When? We know that it will be 2012, most likely. We have been talking about the second week of June, but I think that we should be open to ideas. Maybe a winter wedding somewhere in the mountains of Colorado. Maybe something in May or June, in a garden or a courtyard. We talked about having a church wedding but neither of us are very religious and he was baptized Roman Catholic and hasn't ever been in any other kind of church and I am protestant and would feel very uncomfortable in a Catholic church.

2. Colors? I think lavender and rose red, but Colorado hasn't really had much say in the colors.

3. Theme? Will it be a simple, yet elegant lunch reception or an all day, afternoon wedding and a reception that goes late into the night? I have no idea!

Those are my biggest questions right now, I'm sure the closer I get the more in depth I'll probably get!
